I'm warming to this view & @Adamprice #brexit is forcing more people in Wales to ask, perhaps for the first time, what sort of future do we want for our country and who is best placed to deliver it. I am no longer sure a #brexit infested Westminster is a viable option for Wales.

….and for those that are interested (and haven't seen already - sorry!) I did try and address the "Future of Wales" question in relation to the #Brexit #climatechange question...

For Wales. Nationalism is often banned about as being bad, it's quite the opposite. The SNP/Plaid have outward looking Europe focused aims for Scotland/Wales at the centre of EU as part of a progressive dynamic society. UK 'Union' is over. IndyWales Curious? Checkout @yescymru

And if anyone out there is a Labour voter through and through but starting to feel like Wales needs a fair and equal voice, know that we're here too. We want a Confederal Union of Britain where we choose whether or not our Head Of State has a golden piano. #indyWales

Confederalism isn’t independence though. I thought you were Lab 4 Indy?

Ok, running with that theory - how do you solve the border issue?

What border issue are you referring to?

So, to be as constructive as possible, we've tried to think through all the scenarios. This is what we want to avoid because some of our members work and live on both sides of the border - we forget the east at our peril:

Yes and no - if England does't want to be in the EU, fine, but so far it looks like it wants to be in the EU Custom's Union which would mean that we could do what we like.

Who knows what the future holds - but if #brexit breaks the UK all bets are off.

Just Westminster? I'm not sure it's good for Wales now that the same party has been in government for two decades. If independence is an aim, the main party pushing for it has to be the majority in a government of Wales. Hence next week and May 21 will be key points on journey.

Hi Mark. This is what a lot of people in Wales are questioning right now. Wales being part of the UK hasn't worked, we remain the poorest country's in Europe whilst at the same time, being attached to the world's 5th largest economy. Why is this? Clearly Westminster isn't working 1

Exactly no nonsense straight talking. It will not be easy but it is possible

Westminster is Remain infested. That is why Brexit hasn’t happened. I thought large areas of Wales voted Leave?
